How to remove a damaged locking wheel nut?

I'm fed up of my useless locking wheel nuts.

I think they must be the original Rover ones, because they are as soft as butter. Everyone of them has been damaged by ham-fisted various previous onwers / garages.

It's now got to the point of not being able to get some of them undone - any suggestions on how to get them off would be greatly received!

I bought ours last summer. After I had bought them I saw the same ones on eBay for £14.99 on a "buy it now".

It may have been a one off. I must admit I haven't looked since.

Halfords were far more expensive than the online shop, weighing in, I think at the time, at a whopping £34.99. They are more expensive now with them.

Bringing this to the fore again, me and my Dad misplaced the locking key for the coupe and did the exact same thing. Smacked on a socket and voila off they came. Put standard ones on for the time being and will have the mcgard set off the 25 on as soon as I finish getting my tyres fitted today. What a pullava!
