Been in a Ford dealer today so obviously all the 65 plates I have seen were Fords, they were saying that 65 plate sales have been poor so far compared with previous plate changes.
Two black Range Rovers with black wheels.
Two black Jaguars - XFs? - with black wheels.
A black Lexus SUV.
A quite large Kia hatchback - Cee'd? - in white.
To be honest as new cars are so bland and look all samey to me I never bother looking now. In fact I don't even know the dates of new plate release anymore there is that little interest here.
So a dealer wonders why sales are down??
Do they really actually look at what they are sellign?? They all look the same no wonder people cannot be bothered and the cost !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only a couple of weeks of "65" reg left now and I am noticing lots of Audis and unusual cars I am having to check what they are on the boot - Volkswagen Passat (white); Ford Focus (silver); Ford Mondeo (grey).
And suddenly several Kia SUVs in dark grey - the sort of conquest buyers who should find MG GS a better proposition than Kia.
I'm seeing more and more 65 reg - odd-looking blue-tinged B*Ws (i series?), Teslas, big Fiat 500s. Seems it was a bumper six months.
