I saw on your website about frequent HG failure on Rover 214 16v K series engines.
My sons car just suffered this problem, is this really a common fault and what the best fix.8)
It's not a huge problem when you compare HG failure rates with other marques
Aslong as (1)The coolant level is checked and maintained (2)The coolant has the right type and strength antifreeze contained within it (3)The inlet manifold gasket is to the latest spec, then I'd expect no real problems.
Make sure the latest spec MGR gasket is used during the repair with the steel (not plastic) locating dowels
