1995 MK I Rover 400 speaker sizes?

Sorry to ask such a boring question but i really cant find an answer anywhere! im getting this car in a week and want to pre order some speakers and a head unit online. What size front speakers do i need? and can anyone give me some advice with a budget of around 50 for the speakers? thanks very much

The fronts are about 8" I think

fronts are 6.5" or 17cm whichever you prefer, if you want sound quality your best bet will be to get a set of component speakers incorporating a seperate tweeter.

my brother has th 2nd set of alpins in his car, not amped but very loud and crisp and clean all hte way up to full volume.

if you're after something to simply replace rovers crap speakers and aren't too fussed about overall clarity, just about all speakers will be better than the ones you have.
