Or you could just repair it! The one in the pic above was worse than that before it was fixed.

Nah to be honest the roof is one of the only clean parts on the car.

Sorry do you mean your cars roof was worse then mine is pictured?
Did you get it re sprayed professionally? because a) i cannot afford that and b) if i do it i KNOW i will cock it up haha

That is worse for one patch, but mine bubbles up pretty much the entire length of the windscreen

A brief and incomplete history of mine...


Rover 220GSi (Sold with 43k on the clock, now been turbo'd)

Sold last year and now turbo'd

Rover 216GTi (sold with 115k on the clock, now lives in Devon)


Rover 220 Coupe turbo (scrapped)


Rover 216GSi (Auto) - brought as a stop gap...kept her for two years (now scrapped I think - piston rings failed)


GTi v GSi


Current car
Rover 220 Coupe turbo, bog standard, 63k on the clock.


Missing;

1989 214GSi
1993 220GTi
1991 214GSi

well no mot or tax and i need her gone by the end of the month..
or my parents want is scraped!

ive gone back to college n there for have no money!
but it would pass its mot no advisorys..
its never had an advisory before :P
and ive changed the brakes and gearbox n clutch within the last 1000miles
inc brake lines
few other bits done to it..
only one thing truely wrong with it is the drivers central locking microswitch is fried (i put 12v through it when i was going to fit remote c/locking... and tested with a multimeter)

post code is near cv81fg

if i can get enough i will put it though an mot but i dont know if i can yet...
btw its only got 40,000 on the clock!

the grill is from a rover parts place its a tomcat grill with aftermarket mesh cleans the front end up well

That is a cryin shame, mate.
Its a neat looking car! i take it you have sold the alloys for it though?
I would have bought it if i wasnt a) in a situation of no money, and b) already in possesion of a 214SEi :P

Yeah that grille does look rather nice, although i have just finished spraying over my chrome grill to match the body colour, green and chrome do NOT mix well :P

ive got some 15'' alloys in the shed painted black by the prev owner with bald tyres..
(needs a referb) but ill let them go for 20... but i dunno what they are 5spoke rover alloys il find a pic n pm..
