Just bought myself another cabriolet, here is the ebay listing:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=150490555974

The pictures on the listing are pretty rubbish, bought it blind but really happy with it. Despite the listing saying the power hood does'nt work it does!

Lots of little jobs to sort, but should be a tidy little run around when i'm finished....Pics to follow after the weekend when i've had a chance to tidy it up a little.

Yeah it looks like a nice little motor, hows the engine? 93k for like 100 odd quid is pretty damn good! much rust on her?

looks like you got a killer bargain mate

Engines fine, the previous owners had her for 8 years and covered just 10k in that time, always had it serviced annually and only used it as a summer car.

Very little rust, the rear arch on the nearside, and a couple of small bits on the front wings. Usual rover areas really.

Another typical (in my experience at least) is the saggy front seats. The door trim (the removable panel) has come unstuck in places.

The worst bits are some areas of peeling lacquer, and staining on the roof which hopefully i'll find a way of cleaning as otherwise the roof is in perfect condition (5 years old).

Generally a decent clean and fixing a few niggles will make it pretty nice, just don't like the colour!!

Its usually good news when the previous owner has had it a GOOD percentage of its life, my SEi was kept by an old engineer who had it since it came outta the factory!

But.. i have changed its appearance since ive had it.. i finally got myself a 220 bonnet but its gun metal grey haha. I think it still looks nice -

SOOoooo sorry for them dirty ass alloys, and no i didnt clean the car for the pics, i cleaned it and thought 'while im at at'.. iam not thaaat sad haha!

Are the jamex lowering springs good then? how much did u pay for yours cause i seen em on ebay for around 60 and just wonderin if its safe lol.

Def kept it subtle but immidiately noticable difference, i appreciate your care for her.. wish i could get my 214 as nice as that haha. quite a few womens fingernail scratches on the exterior door handles from previous owner/s and 2 or 3 shopping trolley dents
