Hi DyamR. That's nice to see.

Lip. Do you mean lip spoiler for the trunk/boot? My son > MetroMartin < on here, has one which he is not going to fit to his 620ti last time I asked him about it. He's currently Skiing and Snowboarding in Norway and will return in the week. He may sell if price is right. Drop him a PM. You never know.

He got some Fog Lamps recently when he removed the front driveshafts from a Diesel 600 in a local car breaker yard. He may still have them. You will also need the relay and switch assemblies for the front fog lights. I have both these too. I also have a pair of fog lights from a 600 but they are not best used condition. Some corroded very badly as exposed to all the road dirt for years.

Here's my Zircon Silver '98 Ti, 208,000 miles on the clock and still going strong.

How she looked last week:

How she looks this week:

There's more adjustment in the suspension yet (its a custom frankenstein job we've done using a combination of 600/Accord parts - a test bed really, but still need more bits yet). Once its done properly, it'll come down another inch or so at the front and another 2 at the rear.

Need to start on tidying the body next - the bumpers are in awful condition!

Agreed. Good looking car. Those Vitesse alloys always a nice touch on the 600s... showing in most shots.

Mine will be back on the road soon . I have repaired all the accident damage, except the power steering cooler which I need to do. The other normal service jobs are :- I need to put the new turbo in, change oil/oil filter and I will need to get two new tyres for MoT as I think the two back ones won't pass. These jobs can be done in a day, but I will just do them bit by bit as the weather sometimes doesn't cooperate. I think I will upgrade to Vitesse alloys once everything is done. And I was forgetting, I need to put the radiator/aircon condensor/intercooler assembly back in. It is fun as it gives experience and makes it easier next time should something similar need doing

These cars are very easy to work on which is a plus.

Thanks John. I cleaned the hose and just took my time wrapping it. Used a full roll of silicone tape though so its not exactly a cheap exercise if you wanted to do all your hoses! I just had some tape lying around and thought it'd look better if it matched the boost hoses.

Cool

looks a tidy example, doesn't look like a 208k mile car! great to see another 620ti on high miles!
Was this Matty's 620ti as I know he had a silver one on 190k a while ago?

Thanks Martin. It's worse in the flesh but I'll tidy her up.

It is indeed Matt's old car!

Thumbs down Sad News! :-(

Sadly, my beautiful 623 was written off in January, after being shunted up the rear on the motorway. Now sitting in a scrapyard somewhere, the only manual 623 in the country is no more! :-(

It has now been replaced with my fourth Rover, and my 2nd 623! No-where near as clean as my last one, but still a good car and an auto this time!
