Exclamation Rover 600 ti for sale on eBay

As per usual, I have no connection with this sale, but thought it is worth to mention if anybody is interested.
Price is on dear side but maybe worthmto look.

Got one the same colour, sadly sitting in back garden since 2013....only took it off the road due to having too many cars insured

I spotted that for sale on Car and Classic at first and thought it looked very clean and original. Unfortunately when you zoom in on the e-bay photos both rear arches need work, especially on the driver's side which will need an arch repair panel. It is a lovely colour and would be a great buy at the right price, just seems a bit too expensive in view of rear arch work required.
There have been a few TIs for sale lately and apart from a mint one that was up for nearly 3000, most are around the 1000 mark. I paid 850 for my 'V' plate one nearly a year ago with 6 months mot and it's very clean and original too. Mine had a small piece of visible corrosion above the n/s of the rear bumper, which along with a bit hidden behind the bumper on the o/s I have repaired by cutting out the corrosion and welding new metal in. Not a massive job but certainly a lot cheaper than if I'd had to pay a decent bodyshop to do it.

Yep I'd seen that one on Car & Classic as well, it didn't seem that much on the dear side though like you say wheel arches would need work, it would need a cambelt change and other stuff no doubt.....

According to DVLA MOT history it failed in December 2016 on rear arch corrosion being within suspension mounting area and parking brake efficiency. So definitely priced a bit high in view of that, still it will be interesting to see what it goes for.

I think the price is reasonable for a low mileage/ good condition 620TI.
They were a revelation when they first came out & can still hold their own with a lot of present BMW's, Mercs., Jags. etc.
