Good for you and good luck with the French Monty.

Been there, done that. I had five MG Montego Turbos about ten years ago, now only one. It's a good 'n though. Would love to have kept them all but, logistically, not possible particularly when you have other cars too. You can only look after so many.

I have 2 in garages round the corner, the French turbo on the drive for now and the rest in my barn I rent.
Got the French Turbo free to couldn't turn it down really
Got it going after 10 years dormant

That's unusual to see what appears to be a later face lift car, fitted with an earlier style Camshaft Carrier carrying the MG Turbo legend... interesting.

The contents of that carb show what happens when fuel degrades over long periods of inactivity.

An update in the digidash
I got messed about with the buyer so pulled the sale, another buyer rang me straight away so I sold it to him.
Since then he asked me to put a power steering rack etc on it as the steering was too heavy for him so this I have now done and the steering a very light and the car still looks good.
He's happy with it and you'll possibly see it about in the future
This is also the last update as it's now gone
