Everything is back together, just a couple of bolts and pipes to refit and the job's done - ready for startup, maybe dinnertime!

I'm pleased to report that the engine has started - and all is quiet.

Started very easily - as I would expect

Download short video of startup

Right Click Here

Might not be online for long as it will probably bust my bandwidth!

Did the Cylinder head have to come off in the proceedure?

No, just the cam carrier and cam assemblies out.

Sounds great

Is it just me, or did you forget to put the cam cover back on

Was that the first start up, or take II? You can tell us... If it was take I - sounds great. My coupe grumbles for 2 or 3 secs after it hasn't been started for 2 or more days (runs a bit rough!)

That was the initial startup - it is always as fast as that.

Thanks for the mirrored hosting of the video Dev!

Cam belt cover is on now, I always tend to leave it off after major repairs just to check the belt tension etc etc
