Post Visitor Centre

Can anyone tell me about the Longbridge visitor centre, ie can the public enter at any time and do they offer factory tours?

Hi David

I don't know. I do know however that the Rover Performance and Enthusiasts' Club is trying to organise a club visit at the moment.

As per a post sometime ago - if there is sufficient interest from the members on this board, then I'll happily try and organise something.

Hi guys (and gals??)

I'm working out of the office most of this week - but I have got in touch with the Visitors' Centre and they're going to send me out the relevant information.

Back home on Friday - so anyone who is up for this, please let me know by then and I'll hopefully update everyone over the weekend.

If you've any queries - mail john@oil-tanks.co.uk

Wink Re: Visitor Centre

Hmmmm on previous experience you won't be able to talk to any production line staff - they're all too busy on the moving (oh so slow, but moving!) production line.

The guides are ex-production workers so they know their stuff. You get to wear some funky radio headphones so you can all hear what the guide is saying otherwise you'd never hear him over the din!
