Question rover immobiliser bypass

Hi guys,
Im new to all these forums and was wandering if it would be possible for someone to help me with the above problem, I have nearly finished slotting a T series engine into my TF and am now having problems with the immobiliser.
I bought the engine with its ecu without realising i need the alarm stuff to go with it.

Which version of the T series do you have? What is the ECU code number.

There are two options.
The first option is if the ECU isn't coded to the alarm unit, i.e. you won't need the alarm ECU to make the engine run
The second option is if the ECU is coded to the alarm. If so you either need to reprogram the ECU to accept a new code unit from the alarm (perhaps even the existing alarm on the TF), or you can have the immobiliser bypassed by companies such as best of british I believe can do it but there are probably others.

There aren't a lot of T series people hanging around in this (diesel) section:
