Water sloshing/Drain holes..

For the Archives as it pops up now and again....

If you hear `sloshing`(water) type noises coming from the front of your car, or after a few dry days you are still seeing water dripping out of the area around either of the front mudflaps. (NO other areas as this may be coolant!!) then it is likely the sill drain holes are blocked.....

Well worth checking anyway even if you have noticed no problems as its only a 2 minute job!.

Screwdriver shows location of the front holes....... rears are the same only opposite end!...... as the F and TF share the same platform both cars `should` be the same.. (my F and TF are).

LeginTF is up and running. Hey we all have to start somewhere.
That's a very swift transit from one place to another!

I know Pete!.

Been trying to get the TF down to the Bro-out-Laws garage for a underbody steam clean and Waxoyl.......... just not found the time!.

Getting a new Exhaust in the next week or so, and looking at the cat nuts I think this will be a job for His garage as well........ hopefully get the underbody done at the same time!!

Hmm. That's a thought. My year old TF is as it left the factory. What sort of undersealing do you think would be a good idea, Pete (or anyone else)???

Depends!.

You will allways get some chipping of the underbody protection its just a case of checking and touching up `as and when`..

If you plan to keep the car it may well be worth getting it waxoyled..... in particular the front end, suspension, chassis legs and behind the wheel arch liners!.
