Thought long and hard... no, I'd rather put 10k in an Icelandic bank.

Don't forget delivery charges...looking at carquake at a FIAT 500 the charges were over £400! Sounds as if Ryanair pricing is now alive and well in some places.

I need an auto and having tried a few of the semi-autos I want a trad auto which leaves only one car in this price range. The Myvi!

Only £7K all in for what is effectively a YAris. (or £5k with the scrappage deal). Now if someone could point to another auto under £10K (not a semi)...

Wouldn't you rather have a secondhand Focus auto or something than a new piece of junk?

I wouldnt buy a new car, simple as that. I dont reckon much to paying for something that will be worth about 2k less by driving it off the forecort, round the block and back again.

I think you all need to acknowledge that the Jazz is better looking than the Fiesta.

If I was forced at gunpoint to spend £10k on a new car it would be some flavour of Fiat 500 (how do you find the absolute list prices of cars, anyway?!).

I think I'd be looking at Fiat's range. Depends what you want I suppose. 500 is funky, Panda is practical.

Other models fall under or come very close to the 10k limit with current Fiat UK offers too.

Definitely worth a look.

Just turned forty bleedin' three.

Don't like the Fiesta's light units; don't like the silly mock air intake thing in the oversized spoiler; don't like the general lack of glazing.

Code VTS with the heated leather... 200 miles on the clock 9,980. There a pretty good car to drive too, the one i tested impressed, just not that fast.

http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk...hicleRegLetter=

You can get VTS virtually brand new for less than 10k. Pands looks like a decent package, but the VTS has more street cred.
