PRICE LIST FOR HEAD GASKETS:

£295.00 NON VVC

including the following brand new parts:

MLS head gasket,
Cambelt,
Waterpump,
Inlet Manifold Gasket,
Exhaust Manifold Gasket,
Oil,
Oil Filter,
Antifreeze,
Head bolts if yours are not within the correct size requirements,
Cam Oil Seals if needed.
3 months, 3,000 mile warranty on labour,
12 months warranty on parts.

We also carry spare parts (brand new) with us incase your vehicle requires them or you want them as an extra, which we supply and fit at the following prices...

Tensioner £25
Thermostat £25
Rocker cover gasket (cam cover gasket) £10
Alternator Belt £10
Power steering belt £10
Head Bolts £25
Cam Oil Seals £10 (for all of them)
Platinum tipped spark plugs £30 - requested in advance if wanted.
Stainless Steel Underfloor Coolant Pipes £115

Hello,

Just about to buy an MG TF 135 2003 with 28 k on the clock and last service stamp at 24000.

I would like to make sure I take all reasonable precautions against head gasket failure, although t,he car runs perfectly at the moment. What would be the approximate cost for you to,

Replace the timing belt
Replace the water pump
Replace the thermostat
Replace the under floor radiator pipes with stainless steel ones (if you supply and fit these)
Change the oil and filter

The car is located in Stafford, post code ST17 4RY

Hi Zak, Thermostat is £25 extra, underfloor coolant pipes are £115 extra, the other things are included in the head gasket replacement.

Fuel would be £20 x

Depends how soon after Christmas you want to book in for, we're already taking bookings for the 2nd week of January, although we can double book days now as we have enough staff on to do so
so whenever you're ready to be honest x

thanks Kayleigh,

I will be in touch towards the end of March regarding the head gasket and perhaps hubby can look at the door windows as well and see what he thinks. As I said the car is fine and the head gasket will only be a precaution so you can fit the work in when it suits, no rush.

I will bring the car up to you when it needs a service and MOT later in the year.

I noticed you used to have ads on ebay for head gasket replacement a year back but there are no ads on there anymore?

Are you still doing head gasket replacements and for the same price? My car is a mg zs 120 saloon mk2. Just need info incase.

Hi Kayleigh,

My MGTF 135 requires an MOT in December (around about the 20th) and I would like to have the head gasket modification done as well. I am happy to bring the car up to you and leave it with you for as long as you wish. The car has only done 33k miles from new ans passed the MOT last year with no advisories and has only done 2k miles or so since so not expecting big problems but you can never be sure.

I would prefer to drop it off on a Saturday if possible so can you let me know when you would like it ?

I know it's a bit early yet but I know you get busy
