My spare 160 ECU, its playtime

Can you just swap any ecu?
I know on my XJS you can, as i swapped mine for a performance aj6 engineering one.

But whats the deal with the alarm/central locking and key fobs?, are they not affected? Just curious as i have seen them selling them on ebay(ecu's) bot with the key fobs etc?

Will need to be programmed to your BCU.
