Peak District Charity Car Run - July 1st 2012

The 7th Annual Serpentine Charity Run

Sunday the 1st July 2012

The event is open to all types of classic/sports cars and motorbikes and will start from 9:30am at The Buxton Dome Car Park (the University of Derby Campus) and involve a route though the Peak District National Park taking in some of the UK’s most beautiful scenery. Entrants will be given their route maps at the registration point, where they can also get refreshments (tea, coffee, bacon butties and the like), and from where they will also be started at regular intervals.
The journey will be approximately 100miles and will involve several stops at places of interest as well as stops for refreshments etc and will culminate in a display of all the cars at the finish line in one of the Peak Districts historic locations (it’s a secret until you get there) around mid afternoon.
This is not a race and the planned journey time though the Peak District is to be around 4 hours to allow you to enjoy the scenery, stop for lunch or a picnic as well as enjoy your driving experience.
There will be an entry fee of £12 per car, which should enable a substantial donation to the chosen local charities.

the form is probably out of date as Ive not had time to get one done yet....
but it'll still do as the actual application form is the bit you need and that (I dont think) has no date on it

anyone interested as I'll need to sort tea, coffee and the bacon order in the next few days......wouldnt like anyone to go without if they turn up...
