If I'm ever up your way, we'll go for a pint haha. Good enough?

Jelly of your alloys - I need to get some hairpins!

Just won a full leather interior for 80 quid on eBay. Full leather but base spec, this car is going to be... interesting.

It'll be a bit like mine! I wanted hairpins but I quite like the phoenix alloys on mine now.

The Phoenix alloys are awesome - wouldn't mind a set instead of hairpins. My old 400 had them.

I've just found out I have rear brake discs - thought these were meant to have drums?!

I think it depends on what engine it has.

Mine was the lowest powered TD in the 400 and I have drums.

Mine is also the lowest powered, it's the same engine as yours - and should have drums. Stupid Rover.

Wonder if it's because it's a saloon? Interesting. Got to get a cambelt ordered now, you should get it done if you don't know when it was last changed.

Oh. I thought the D and SD were different? Mine had the belts done just before I got it.

Damn, lucky you.

Nope, the S is just a trim level - I have full electric windows and a sunroof.

It's the 'i' at the end of the model number that denotes the higher powered (intercooled) engine - such as Di, SDi etc. Anything without the 'i' is 84(?)bhp like ours.
