HID mounting?

Hi guys i have a mk2 mg zr 2L diesel and wondering where you could mount lights in the engine bay because its so damn packed!!!

I know there illigal so this is just for personal interest as I have heard it be done before.

well iv put a set in my zr,and had the mot done few weeks ago and the lights were passed,i also asked mr mot man regarding colour temp,and basically the law is you can put what ever in,the only law is the actuall beam pattern,as long as its the same off the hids as halogen happy days,as for the fitting of the ballasts i just secured them via cable ties in the engine bay,plenty of spaces there have a look about,iv placed mine up behind the ecu one side,and under the throttle sensor on the other side,hope this helps and dont quote me with the hids,just fit them and for peace of mind take it to mot tester and just ask him to check the pattern

From what i've seen of some PnP HID kits, the vision isn't even improved that much either! With so much rubbish scattered light it's not finding its way onto the road where you want it.
