Boot build
Want a sub in the car as i miss mine but at the same time i need boot space. So im going to go for the stealth boot build type for the corner of the boot. I have a MG ZR.
I know you can buy these for like £75 but i wanna make my own ![]() Never done anything like this before so: What Material is best? What sub and amp is best? Thankyou in advance ![]() Callum |

Lol!
I want to make one aswell.. Like this.. ![]() But iv never done fibreglassing or anything like that before.. Dont know what to get or how to mix it etc.. I think it would be fairly easy once youve got everything you need sorted.. Just need to masking tape the boot and stick some fibreglass on.. I just read this how to on an audio forum.. Well long! But now I know what to do ...http://www.talkaudio.co.uk/ipb/index...th-fiberglass/ |

Actually I am also looking for something similar.
But I don't need something for the subs, I need something that I can mount the amp too, it won't fit on the back seats as the 2 x 12" subs in the their boxes take up most of that room so want something where I can mount it to the left or right of the car boot and being crap at DIY, but good with electrics lol is the reason I don't want to attempt making something myself as wouldn't know where to start. |

Ive already done a fibre glass boot build where the amp mounts to the build, i will get some pictures up tonight
It was my first go at fibre glassing too, messy but not hard at all really. |

just read your post john, my build is for the pasenger side sub enclosure (yes even with the smaller gap ive fitted a flush mounted 10" sub) there is enough space on the enclosure front board for the amp (not small btw lol) the technique can be used to fit an amp board in though so should stil be helpfull.
