rear wiper trouble rover 200

hi everyone the rear wiper didnt work on my 200 so i managed to get it working by looking at the wiring loom for the boot, taped up the wires and it came back to life. thanks for advice from members.

but now my dads 200 has a rear wiper fault, i fixed wiring loom by boot hinge and nothing? fuse isnt blown and i changed the motor, i really dont know what to try next??

any suggestions?

I think you have two more things to see: relay and stalk.

whereabouts in the car do i find the rear wiper relay?

Green one, in the boot, right hand side, when you remove trim to reach right hand side tail light, you will see it.

thanks for the advice the wiper is working fine now but still no water coming out. when i twist the stalk it sounds like its trying to under the bonnet but nothing comes out, ive checked theres water in the the bottle so im stumped could it be a hole in 1 of the water lines??

The tube going to the rear often splits. If you remove the rubber covering the tube on the left hand of the boot lid (opposite the rubber boot covering the wiring harness) you can have a look. Cheap fix if that's the problem.

As above. Check if water tube snapped in the rubber area due to folding.
