Smile Vauxhall Vectra Mis-firing

Hello, Please can anyone give some advise to my nephew who's struggling with a problem with his Vauxhall Vectra LS, Here is his message; i was wondering if any1 could tell me wot is wrong with my 1.6 1995 vectra. it is missfiring and the car is also shake when idleing. however when driving the car is fine??? Any help apreciated. Regards. Gary and J

My mates car was doing this, turned out it was the plugleads. Get 'em changed, give it a dose of WD40 down the lead ends before you plug them in and then take it for a 'spirited' drive somewhere. The ECOTEK engine does not like to be pootled around for long and benefits from an Italian Tuneup
