Very Impressed...

My 45 derv has been filled up with diesel three times since the 28th of September. The 2nd tank was a 49 litre fillup and got me near-as-damnit 10 miles per litre; 479 miles to a tank.

44ish mpg, which is 300% better than the 15ish I got from work commutes in my 3.0 barge.

Also experienced awesome "boost"-on understeer on a slippery roundabout. Hilarious.

Nice isn't it? Especially now that DERV prices are closer to petrol than they were last year.
I have had 556 to a tank out of mine, only once unfortunately.

if i give mine the beans, i get about 32mpg... but i have to drive it like a t**t all the time to get it that bad. on most runs i get about 44mpg

best i ever saw was 600 miles out the tank, only happened for the space of a month when i was commuting to word on the A350 where the locals dont ever get faster than 45mph!

Well I only have 99bhp to play with so "hanging about" is thrust upon me.

Would consider getting a remap for a laugh if...

A - it was easy
B - it was cheap
C - my insurance wouldn't go north rapidly
D - it gave me noticable difference and no loss of MPG

But I bought it to do the dual carrigeway slog to work and back, which is what it does in squeaky, slightly misted-up comfort. Can't complain.

newbieboy is up and running. Hey we all have to start somewhere.
I've had my 45 two and a half years, and during that time I've averaged just over 49mpg (all carefully logged), and that includes towing my caravan now and again. On that basis, your 44mpg isn't very impressive.

Well actually, from that tank of petrol I got 47.8mpg, according to this.

But it's all relative. I was getting 16-19mpg from a tank before the 45, so regardless of what others get, to me anything 40+ is brilliant. :P
