Ive had the RAC out to look at my none starting car. He checked the standard stuff, and came to the crank sensor was at fault. This results in no sparks anyone know how to fix this
cheers
I had the same problem. The man who came out to look at mine showed me where it was so i could change it myself. the part cost me about £50 and to change it you need to get under the car take the undertray off look up and its staring you in the face disconnect the wire from it undo the two screws pull it out and pop the new one in
if its the 1.8 or 2.0 not KV6 the crank sensor is on the front of the gearbox to the right of the exhaust manifold held by one 10mm bolt. you can get to it from under the bonnet.
if its a diesel you have to remove the starter motor, i got my sensor from a land rover dealer locally
