coil pack & spark plug question - MG-Rover.org Forums

As title suggest really my dads 1.8 1999 freelander seems to be having problems when its cold so i was just wondering what coil pack off other rovers will do? as i don't want to be getting some cheap ones that wont do as i don't want to be getting brand new ones at the moment and also i bought a set of spark plugs off ebay and they have done about 1000 mile in the car but the car seems to be drinking petrol so is it anything todo with the spark plugs? they are bosch plugs and came set at 0.9mm is this correct?

any help would be great

anyone got any ideas on if a coil pack from other k series engines will fit the freelander??
