A82 + cyclists

Why do these Lycra clad looney's attempt to cycle on one of the busiest and fastest SINGLE carriageway in Scotland?

Whats more, There is even a cycle path that runs RIGHT ALONG the same route as the road!

Many times i've came round a corner to find two cyclists hogging half the road because they want to ride side by side. Ive even seen someone cycle the road in thick fog! (The police car behind me sorted him out )

Idiots.

We get the same idiots here in Fife.

I had a very close call with one who was coming round a blind corner on the wrong side of the road at speed.

When there is organised events every so often some of them are riding four abrest.

I think they just have a death wish.

You know I thinkt he same thing going to Aldi in Balloch every Friday. And don't get me started on cyclists who don't ride single file.. they love quoting the rule sof the road at us, but are happy to ignore the ones that don't suit them.

I'm sick of the cyclists on the A82 and the Erskine Bridge! The bridge has paths either side of it but they insist on slowing the traffic by sticking to the road.

I was actually in a serious huff one day about all the cyclists on the bridge and I went and created an E-Petition to get the government to force cyclists to stick to ONLY cycle paths - http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/35274

I think a couple of the points in my petition aren't even correct lol - probably why it only has 8 signatures! :-P
