What to look-out for?
Hi, i'm going to buy a rover 45 impression 2.0TD 2002 (102,000 miles) @ the weekend, i have a few questions i was hoping you guys can help me with please....

Its a rubber cam belt, and most parts are easily available.
try posting in the diesel section for more advice. |

Body parts have the same availability as the rest of the MGR range, however the engine was also used in some Honda Civic's and the early Land Rover Freelander (be it with different fuel injection pumps, etc..), so quite a few engine parts are still available new from Land Rover dealerships.

With simple routine maintenance, these engines can clock up starship mileages. Half a million miles not unknown and 200,000 commonplace. The Honda Motor Company of Japan before they developed their own Diesel engines, fitted it to their Diesel Accords too.
