MGF Speedboat

5 hours drive from Morpeth to Newcastle (15 miles) yesterday.

7 Major flooded areas with cars stranded water was way past door shutlines, spectators calling me a fool but foot down on the revs nose starting to float, straight through, interior dry as a bone.......Just flew through MOT this morning as well!

There were a few astonished faces after comments like "no chance and fool" and disappointed kids willing cars to get stuck.

Good job I don't own an MX5 lol

Yes I am smug lol

Yup.
I was at work.
Took about 2 1/2 hours to drive from South Gosforth to Benton Square and then about another 2 hours to get back.

For those who don't know the area, that's 5 miles each way.

I'm glad it was the works clutch and not my own.

nightmare wasn't it! My left leg and hip was aching from all the clutch action. Still perhaps the floods washed all the salt out from underneath

Garages
One of my guys took 6 hours to get from Qwashington to Cobalt on Thursday night, 4 1/2 hours of that on Felling bypass.
And yet the next day you'd never think it'd happened, madness!
