tints or shades

with baby on the way i want to sort out some sun protection in the rear of the car.

what has everyone used in theirs?

am stuck between getting light tints or stick on sun shades or stick on blinds

tints are expensive/or hard to apply but will give complete sun protection i.e no gaps and look better

stick on suction sun shades are very cheap, easy to install but leave gaps and windows wont open and look really bad and can be pulled off/bent

stick on suction roller blinds are kind of cheapish and easy to install, look a bit better but still leave gaps and renders windows unopenable

what should i do?
are window tints as hard to apply as i think?
did mg-rover do 200/25/zr specific shades like the 75/zt?

cheers

With my three kids in appropriate seats on the back of my R200 mk3 (all at once) I did not used any rear sun shade or protection.

I used only windows shades on suction for rear door windows. The point is driver is in control of doors and windows, so only fronts are in use for opening window.

Keep in mind that i have three kids and live in place which a lot more sun (just for example, we now have 30-35c and sun all the time).

If your gonna attempt it urself use a hairdryer (of the misses) she might get P***ed or if you own a heat gun, dont forget to shrink it down to the shape of your window.
ofcourse you can buy Pre shaped tints but each to there own.
