Hi Guys,

Just before chistmas some idiot in a Focus reversed into my ZR. At first i thought that the only damage was a dent on the bonnet and scratches on the wing.

However, having gone to fill up my windscreen washer fluid I can no longer close my bonnet. It clips into the first catch (the one you release with your finger) but wont clip into the main catch.

I thought it may be the dented bonnet preventing it from moving all the way down but this is not the case.

I have cleaned and lubed the mechanism up and wiggled it about but it will still not click into place.

Has anyone got a diagram of the bonnet release mechanism (or even a pic) so that I can check whether mine has been damaged at all in the accident.
