smoothed front grill

how do i do this- i wana replace my rover one but not sure entirely wat i want to do, i know for sure i want to take out the "slatts" and replace them with mesh/grill - so mainly i would like to know what is best way to do this. and second wat is involved in takining off the bits neccasary to do this and smoothin it entirely ie removin rover badge etc.

Er, im persuming you mean on a Rover 200 MK3.

The grille is in 2 parts. The grey backing bit, this is the bit with the slats in. And then the chrome outer grille. Best way to get the slats out is to saw them out and then just file away at the stumps that maybe left. Then to get the badge out of the chrome bit you need to saw the middle strut out. Then file down the stumps again till smooth. Then fill around the area so it looks proper. Then spray. Then cut an amount of mesh enough to fit inbetween the grey bit and the chrome bit.

Screws. Lift up bonnet. Take off the black plastic thing around the catch and then pull forward and you can take it off if you have small hands n small ratchet thingy. If not you will need to take off the whole bumper.
