Hi,
How many people use this local forum? I have just stumbled across it but it looks in a very sorry state with very few recent posts as if noone knows it's here, as in my case until 5 minutes ago. I live in Rustington, West Sussex and it's my wife who owns a R75 from October 2005. Looking forward to the meet this month in Beaulieu. Anybody out there in the South??? David |

Yep i agree there must be quite a few out there round where i live (Havant) there are quiet a lot of MG ZS ZT`s Cabbys etc.but not many on this site recently perhaps interest died with the death of Longbridge (Ha Ha)
I run a R25 GTi which i have since found out has been chipped and mapped underbonnet to MG spec but still looks pretty much standard up and down A27 past your neck of the woods daily and see loads of Rovers had a looksee at a 75 when i bought the 25 but found the space for my feet wasnt great! (Size 9's) |

Good to hear there is someone out there! Sounds like your car is pretty quick then..., I'll know who it is now in the outside lane of of the A27. Funny you should say that about foot room in the 75 as I find the same with my right foot when on the accelerator, it hits the floor lining at the top. It's strange that you get that on a large car especially as I have size 9 feet as well and that's not particularly big. Do you not have the same problem in the 25? |

Hi!
I have a black facelift ZT and live in Portchester. Often seen patrolling local roads along the South Coast as my job takes me from Worthing to Plymouth! Keep your eyes open for me, lads! |

Will do aga. What engine do you have, will you be tailing the 25 GTi in the outside lane? How have you found the car, are you pleased with it?

Hi Dawi,
In answer to your question the 25 Has good Foot room but no footrest when your foots of the clutch so i am either wearing away the carpet on the tunnel or got my left leg away from the pedals completely!!! can cause problems when your grabbing the clutch as well cos some times when you rush a gear change your shoe gets stuck in the shag pile apart from that its a great Car to drive more fun than my missuses golf which has so much room in their for your feet you could get two on both pedal!! keep up the happy motoring!!! Not Seen Aga's motor yet though although with the A27 you can hardly get in the outside lane!!! and if you do theres one of those speed camera things to spoil it!!!! |

Hi,
Not seen either of you as yet but I'll keep my eye out. I do like a footrest myself although I think more foot room is more important. Perhaps you can improvise some kind of device which will act as a rest although it would have to be secured well to the flloor to be safe! |

Engine in 135 CDTi (with a powerbox). Car dives like a dream - not so smooth as my old car (75 CDT) but much more fun! Tend not to get to the Worthing side of my area often these days, so you may not see me so much - if you are on the M27 at all, keep your eyes open! |

If we wave to ALL MG's then it may be infectious, eh? I've also been waving to 75's, but I get little response, so I've stopped! I think that most of the 75's around here are not aware that they have something special and is revered by us all. See ya around. |

Bump to the thread:
I have not long been a member to the club or indeed owned my ZT for more than a month. I live in Fordingbridge Hants and travel to Salisbury daily for work. To date I have seen in the region of 10 Zt's & 10 ZT-T. I have had one flash of lights and one wave. Pretty poor really. Lets get waving, we belong to a unique group. My ZT is Le Mans Green, look out for me I'm waving. mykl |
