Hopefully someone can help me here.

My car appears to be drinking oil! Have to keep topping it up weekly.

There is no apparent oil leak, engine as clean as a whistle. Oil Filter clean, pipes all check out.

Any other ideas, apart from the fact it could be burning the stuff?

Hi Allan, What's the inside of the tail-pipe look like? If it has a coating of really black soot, there's a good chance you're burning the stuff. Lots of short trips and no good long runs to keep the engine clean (internally) are often the cause.
