Rover 220 Turbo Coupe reverse lights? - MG-Rover.org Forums

I've just noticed that neither of the reversing lights are working on my 220 Turbo Coupe. I've changed the bulbs and they still don't work so can only assume it's the switch on the gearbox.

But before I go striping half of my engine bay to find it, could anyone tell me where it is located?

front of the gearbox, two green wires coming from it and go up over the top of the gearbox and join the main loom...the wires have probably become disconnected. easy to sort if they have.

Thanks for that, the wires weren't plugged in, found the loom to the car dangling at the back of the engine bay and the wires from the switch resting on top of the gearbox.

However, I've plugged them in and they still don't work, did a continuity check with a multimeter and it seems the switch is open circuit.

New switch time!
