Question 1997 Rover 620 "L" series diesel

Would anyone know of where or how I could obtain a workshop manual for this engine, please

The L series is developed from the Perkins Prima engine, and Haynes do a manual specifically for that - Austin/Rover 2.0 litre Diesel Engine (86 - 93), book no. 1857. But I don't know if this would be any good when looking at the L-series, you might have to go to your Rover dealer to see if they've got one.

I think the MkII 400 Haynes manual covers this engine as well.

Hello. Yeah ive got the official rover manuals, they person who owned the car before me worked for rover and obtained the manual for just the diesel models, this is all the working for the diesel car, e.g. steering, engine, brakes, body, air con, elccy instruments etc... all coverd for diesel only.

The publication part number if this is any help is RCL 0017ENG

600 diesel

I have a Haynes manual #3453 for the 420 1995 - 1998 it covers what I believe is the same unit.
I'm in Wiltshire / LondonIf you are interested
