Clarion, is it any good?

ive bought myself one of these



does any1 have a clarion HU?
how do you rate them?

I had a CRN-28 IIRC.

This was about 10 years ago and it was a cassette and radio unit only.

Lasted ages and was still working when replaced by CD. The sound was good and it was one of the first to have a blue LCD display.

what model number is it? in my experiance with clarion they make nice sounding headunits, good quality aswell.

very very good but at that money id bought alpine.
clarion is one of the most regaurded audio brands for sq just below alpine

if your going town on the system might be worth investing in a luine driver to up the volts on it then it would nearly be 6v

I have used Clarion gear in all of my cars so far, the reliability is top notch.

I was originally swayed by being able to buy at trade prices and seeing how few faulty returns the distributor had.
