Site on a Go-Slow?
I've been having problems for a few days now, constantly getting the 'IE Cannot display page' message when I click on threads etc
It's only on .org though - not having problems with any other sites so I was wondering if anyone else is having probs? Or is it just me? |

Thanks for that
![]() Maybe it's my IE then, the lack of pages loading has been driving me nuts. I'll try it on firefox for a few days and see if thats any better. |

I am glad you said that as it's still doing it now with FF.
Oh well, I'll just keep copying my posts before hitting the submit button then so as I don't have to keep re-typing them. Very frustrating though

Jan, when using Firefox.
If i type out a post and then its unable to submit, I don't lose all of the text. If i hit the back button, either on my mouse, or on the keyboard it'll go straight back to the page with all my text in. Therefore i don't have to type it all out again. It could be a Internet service provider problem? Or are you ok on other websites? Have you tried deleting, cookies etc? Thanks |

I know that I need a new modem at home, but work is plumbed straight into the the Supper Janet backbone and I am still having problems with .ORG.

Out of interest, anyone who is on XPF as well, do you get similar problems on XPF?

I often try XPF at the same time to see if it's any better and 9 times out of 10 it is.

Been fine for me, I've been using explorer.
I was interested in the thread as a few users on a forum I admin are having similar problems. Thats a phpbb forum though so must be so unrelated bug... |

What is the problem with this forum, the host is rubbish? It constantly times out anything up to 5 mins at a time and quite regularly. Fed up with having to repost things. I find it very frustrating.
It's nothing to do with either my connection or my ISP as I can connect to other web pages no problem while .org is timing out. |

It's certainly bad web performance for me today..pages failing to load on this site.
I'll try the XPF one to see if that's the same |

Same here too but it means I can get some work done while waiting for a page to load, win win situation....

I haven't been able to get on the site for 2 hours. Page cannot be displayed continually.
