Lower Rover 45 Saloon

Hi, been reading up on using ZS springs from a 120+ to lower my 45.

Trouble is some people suggest swapping over springs & shocks, other people suggest just springs, with top arms swapped over.

Would it be as simple as finding a ZS 120+ and just removing the springs and swapping them onto my 45?

I know for best handling etc i would be better off with the whole lot, springs, shocks etc, but just want a slight difference.

So would just the springs from a ZS 120+ (hatchback) be ok to swap over onto the 45 Saloon?

Cheers

Kev

its far more work if you just want to fit the springs.

fit the shocks and springs if you want an easier/cheaper job.

Is there anything else i should think about?

Well easy job mate,i lowered my 45 td in picture and fitted a complete set of shock with springs off a MG ZS 180,as these are stiffer for the diesel engine like mine..
but if yours is a petrol fit the MG ZS 120 set up.
took around 2 hours, just have some wd40 handy, makes it easier

That's what I though too. If the 45 and ZS suspension fit the 400 which they should do.... the Koni set-up should fit too.
