Mobiles - Touch or not to touch.... THAT is the question!

Yes yes i know, its ANOTHER help for find a mobile phone blah blah blah.....

But ive gone through a LOT of reviews & managed to narrow down my choice to just 2 & if there anyone out there with experiences of either (experience with both would be even better ) i would enjoy hearing what you have to say!

LG Renoir (or KC910)
Pros: Touchscreen, Thin design, Plays DivX, One of the best cameras
Cons: No 3.5mm jack (but adaptor provided), 'Small' internal memory, no mechanical keypad (although im sure id soon get used to that)

&

Smasung INNOV8 (or i8510i)
Pros: Massive 16Gb internal memory! S60 UI, Plays DivX, One of the best cameras, 3.5mm jack, seperate keypad, Ive previously owned a N95 & apparently this is quite similar.... but greatly improved!
Cons: Size... although as previously mentioned its similar to the N95 & that didnt bother me! Not touchscreen, The optical mouse is reportedly too sensitive sometimes!

Any feedback on either of these (or any others you think will 'cut the mustard') would be greatfully appreciated

To be honest after owning a touch screen phone (LG Viewty) and it going wrong over time I don't like touch screens anymore. But they are fun and are in fashion I suppose. I have not had a go with the new LG but the Samsung my mate has it and it is one hell of a phone. I would have one any day but price puts me off still.

The Pixon was #3 on the list & TBH i think the only reason the Renoir beat it to the final 2 was that it wasnt 'quite' as good as the Renoir (both touchscreens, but the Renoir pips it in camera ability!), but still a belting phone!

Not actually checked how much itll be Itll be an upgrade so shall have to see I dont really see the whole touchscreen as a 'fashion' thing but the whole UI would be more 'functional' instead of have to scroll everywhere :2C:

At the minute, the 16Gb memory & headphone socket means the Samsung is winning at the moment

Top of my 'if only' list at the moment is the Touch HD. Sadly only available on Orange, or on eBay for £500 as the HTC Touch HD, rather than the branded Orange phone.

Probably because its not an official 02 phone. Orange have it exclusively in the UK.
