Beam too high

I've replaced a bulb on the driver's side (98' 416) recently and I have a feeling it shines way too high. It's definitely higher than the passengers side so sure that can't be right? I've tried putting it in again but didn't make any difference. How to make sure it's in properly? I've tried looking for something on the topic but couldn't find it.
Thanks for help.

Hi mate, what bulbs have you fitted?
I recently fitted some halfords super brilliance bulbs, beam seemed high to me so tried to adjust it, didnt really help.
Car was due for MOT, took it and it failed on the beam pattern of the headlamps, put the original bulbs back in and it passed.
Apparently sometimes the lenses in the bulbs can be out.
As long as the clips are on right theres nothing else you can do, the tester told me to try rotating the bulbs but you cant as they only go in one way!

Yeah, I got super brilliance too (H7). So does it mean it's the bulb's fault ? Do you think I will have any luck trying to return them to Halfords ?
