set of alloys

Ok im looking to "reserve" a set of alloy wheels.

They must be 14" or 15" diameter and 6.5" to 7.5" in width, be 4 studs, no tyres, 6 or 8 spokes or multi-spoke. Local or will post. finaly they must be cheap. i only want to reserve right now so i can pay when i have the money.

I would go ebay but i asked the guy closest if i could just collect the wheels instead of paying £35 for shipping and he said yes but £200 cash. they were on bid and went for £25.

Well you can bid on anything ebay and then if you win just say you will pick them up.
So you could have bid on them.

Well it dosen't work like that, if he puts the wheels into an auction with no reserve and you win the auction thats it, thats the price and if you want to pick them up that should be fine, if he wants to post them he can only charge the postage he asked for.
He can ask what he wants to end auction early but thats against ebay rules but at the end of the auction thats a contract.

Also you have to make shore the stud spacing is right for the vehicle you are fitting them to, not all four studs will be the same.
