Why Can't I start a thread to Ask The Gurus?

I can see some changes have been made to the site but it won't let me post a new thread to ask the gurus. I was hoping to post a thread in How Do I - Answers To Common Problems to ask about a mystery boot leak with pics of the leak attached.

Am I not able to post a new thread?

Many thanks

Gavin

You need to post the question in the reliant model section, so looking on your profile it would be the MG ZS / Rover 45 & 400 area.

try starting the thread in the 45 specific section http://forums.mg-rover.org/forumdisplay.php?f=102 ? i dont know about this site but other sites sometimes restrict the ability to do things until 5 posts have been made by the user to weed out spammers , maybe something similar at work here ? , andy

Users cannot start new posts in the How To forum as it would soon get diluted!

For completeness, where can a new user post before replying to the registration mail? "Introduce Yourself" and "Website Feedback" only?
