Rover 25 - tyre pressures.

I have a rover 25 (X reg) my alloys have 185/55r 15 82V tyres on. What are the correct tyre pressures that I should be using?

Manual says 30 psi all round.

Tyre pressures should be on the tyre wall but more than likley its around the 30ish mark

the correct tire pressure will vary from manufacturer to manufacturer

pirellis will need one, michelins will differ, budget tires again differ

have to look at the tire wall and tread depths for a good gauge

if the tire wall has a fat belly and the tread depths are lower on the outsides, increase the pressure a few psi's

32psi front because thats where the engine is!!

30psi at the back, but the manuel might tell you 32 if your going on a long journey with a full car!!

driving with low pressures for long periods will seriously shorten your tyre life!!

correct pressure is 2.2 bar which is around 32 ish psi (cant quite remember) fronts and rear btw

not far off, as said though, as the engine is over the front wheels they need slightly more pressure to prevent deformation of the tyre!!
