Smile rover 1.8 75 fuel tank size

does anyone know what capacity fuel tanks these cars have? just trying to work out how good they are on fuel, as when i got the car it had a full tank, i've done 100 mile and its down to 3/4. doesn't seem to bad to be honest, plus its an automatic and i've had the aircon going as weather has been fantastic!!!!

I think the tank is the same in all petrol versions, about 68 litres. Dunno about the diesels or the V8's tho.

All models have the same capacity fuel tank, which is rated as 64.8 litres or 14.25 gallons.

Don't rely on the computed fuel consumption if you have the Highline system. It's optimistic by default, but can be adjusted to give an accurate figure after you've given it some real world data using brim to brim consumption figures.

Personally I find my MPG computer pretty accurate on my ZT CDTI.

It was showing around 42MPG the other day and when I filled up and worked out my MPG it was actually over 43MPG so the computer was actually showing less, my correction factor is set at the default value of 1000 iirc.

Yes, some will and many won't be very accurate. That's why the adjustment routine is available in Diagnostic mode.

I actually found this adjustment section the other day and didn't understand how it worked.

So how do you adjust it? Yes I know by pressing the reset button but what is the calculations?

No idea Johnny boy, however I do according to Terry's T4 that my injector values are okay so hopefully I wont see any injector issues fingers crossed.
