Red face Interior Clock Display Not Working?

I have a MG ZR 2004. The interior clock display is very hard to read? You can hardly see but the display if there? Any Ideas how to fix this?

sounds like the backlight bulb(s) have gone.

Should be bright during the day, and dim at night.

Easy to replace from what I recall.

With a flat blade screw driver, carefully prise off the black surround from the bottom, and it should just lift up and out of place.
This then reveals abit of a hole below the clock, so you really need to fill that with newspaper or something so the screws don't fall down.
There are either 2 or four screws holding the clock in place....undo these carefully not dropping them, pull the clock forward and disconnect the cable.
The clock is now free for you to turn over and see the bulb holders on the back....these unscrew half a turn and you should be able to see which has blown.
