Think the revised front end looks fantastic
Incidentally, I wonder if they've re-engineered the car in anyway to make up for the disappointing Euro NCAP result?Regards John |

Yes the changes are not great but then they didnt need to be, overall much better both at the front and back, i suppose the many will say that the headlamps are somewhat audi but still if you carnt beat them you may as well join them.
many didnt like the original headlamps but i think a lot of that was due to the prototype having sleeker ones which if that hadnt of been seen then i dont think there would have been as many complaints, the old headlamps were more distinctive, you could argue the latest look make the the XF look less distinctive and more like an Audi, still given the UK love of Audi's thats not nessesarly a bad thing. I do like the more upright grill as well. Last edited by iburnley; 23-04-2011 at 07:16. |

So from Roverman's post I can see the headlights have lost the curve around the main light. What else has changed at the rear can someone point out please? TBH looks the same :-/

The chrome strip above the number plate has been made to look thinner, and it doesn't say J A G U A R in it any more

The new 5 Series is a fine machine, and in a few areas it is superior to the XF. Thankfully, the XF trumps the 5 Series in other areas and in my opinion is the superior machine.
You can't knock BMW for their fantastic CO2 emissions and fuel consumption figures, can you. |

That is sooooooooooooooo much better.
I have said all along that the front end let the car down and now its as pretty as the back. Now theyve got the 2.2 diesel watch sales fly. Long Live JLR. |
