Hi All,
Just signed up to the forum as i am looking into buying an MG ZS and i need some help off someone with more knowledge than i have. I want the MG ZS 1.6 or 1.8 with a 180 bodykit, there are a couple around but i have noticed a few that dont appear to have the rear arch spats that continue round to the rear bumper, is this normal? Having saw one i thought it must have been a self fitted kit but i have seen a couple now with the rear bumoper spats missing. The one im watching on eBay at the moment is here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT Any help would be most appreciated, dont want to buy one with half the bodykit missing! Cheers in advance |

There are 2 possibilities with the one you linked to on ebay, it has either been rear ended and a R45 bumper has been used, or it came from the factory that way, which is highly unlikely imo.

![]() If you want one with full kit the nest bet is to buy one like that the ones your looking at may of had the kit retro fitted hence the missing parts The other option is to buy the ZS180 which will have the fullkit Im suspecting retro fit as the car is poverty spec in every way - seats , no aircon or front fogs - seams strange to me you would spec a body kit amd spoiler and not at least one of those |

Sorry, I disagree, the car linked to on ebay is a 54 plate, at which point the bodykit parts were still available.
I stick with my original opinion, the rear bumper is a replacement. |

I'm going to go with the opinion that the ebay one has had a replacement bumper.
If I recall correctly, the replacement bumpers don't come with the exhaust heat shield cut out and that one has no cut out. It also has the shorter exhaust as I believe OEM ones of the correct length are no longer available. I'd say its had a rear shunt and been repaired on insurance, or to a bit of a budget. Alex |
