R600 meet for 2011

Hi
It was sugested to me by denis747 regarding a R600 meet,i think this would be a good idea for summer 2011 amtcoupe sugested Cowley as pretty central for Northern and Southern members or even Gaydon.

So this is open for sugestions and the possibilities of R600 meet taking place next summer and who would be up for a day out meeting other members and seeing the cars they drive

just found this , cowley where our cars were built is now the BMiniW factory

"BMW Mini Factory, Oxfordshire
The BMW factory near Cowley, just outside Oxford, produced 189,492 Minis in 2004. Each one was built using the latest precision engineering equipment. Tours of this facility are available. Please note that people with pacemakers, and the under fourteens are not allowed on the tour. No open toe shoes, high heels or sandals can be worn. This is an active factory environment of energy, movement and noise. Welding equipment can create sparks of fifteen feet in length. In many ways this a tour for the brave.
The Cowley plant is on the A4142 south of Oxford. Bus number 10 runs every fifteen minutes to the plant from Queens Street.
Access: All parts of the tour are accessible for people in wheelchairs. Visitors with pacemakers cannot be admitted and neither can children under 14 years. Protective coat and goggles must be worn. It is advised that visits are booked at least three months ahead of desired date as these tours are very popular.

gaydon , the heritage motor museum is 50 mins away from cowley so perhaps we could do 2 in 1 or hold the meet over 2 days ? andy

Preston Park Stockton would be better for us Mercforme lol.
Do they still have the vintage car rally there?
How annoying if a "boatload" of Rovers turned up and stole the limelight!

Would have to be a 2 day thing for me 4 hours + each way.
Just got to convince Wifey (have months to earn brownie points though)

My friend (bobsleigh85 on here) has a Section 59 for doing donuts in Tesco carpark... in his 600 diesel!
