That is a bargain if it is 04 model but it is a Solo model which is a little basic for most people.

I know nobody should pay screen price but it is so basic that you would just need a cheap car to go from A to B. It does have an alarm and an imobliser where as most of the compertion do not have an alarm and the 1.4 engine is very quick for this type of car.

Just think if MGR had made a model costing 5K the press would hail it as a bargain, rather than a cheap and nasty car. Perhaps MGR should be less greedy?

The price it should have been in the first place. They may not have had many to sell in the first place so a higher price cooled demand. But you end up hurting your reputation if perceived as ripping people off.

I agree tha the price is a little high, if the rumoured 2k profit per car IS correct then they can afford to bring the price down by 1k and still make a handsome profit, they need to improve the customers perception of this car FAST...

What I ment was the reg is three year's old not the car. Also the 54 plate is out if you want a private one and will be out to all customers in a couple of week's.

Confusing! 51 reg will only be 3 years old this September! Yes, you can buy a 54 plate now, but can only put it on a car which will be first registered on or after 1st September this year.

![]() 53 reg started in Sept 2003, which by my reckoning is only 9 months ago. How can it be three years old? |

Let's start again. If I went to buy a new car today I would wait for a couple of week's to get a 54 reg not a 04 which is out now. What I was trying to say is why would anybody want a 53 reg which is now three regestrations old now.
