New phone time
Im due an upgrade in a few weeks..
Thinking of a HTC Desire Z or the Desire HD. after hearing rave reviews of the standard desire. I currently have a nokia n97 but it seems quite laggy when I have been using it. I dont really fancy an iPhone tbh.. What are peoples opinions of the above, or should I be looking elsewhere? Taa muchly |

You can't really go wrong with a Desire. I've been more than happy with mine. It's great to use, loads of free apps available and no problems whatsoever with lagging. Personally I'd go for the Desire HD as it just has that extra little bit of power over the Z.

Been using a Desire HD phone for a week or two from a Cuz, and its a GREAT phone!
i would definatly recommend it. Battery life is a little on the short side, but just dont have wi-fi, bluetooth and gps running at once and you will be reet

Go for the HD. Due to its larger processor it'll be able to support a lot more updates in the future.
Go and have a play first ... personally, I don't like the HD as it's too big, but that's my preference. Definitely play with 'em, the HTC is the way forward, mind. You never know... ...you may have bigger hands than me! |

Blackberry.
I'm after a Torch, but doubt i'll be able to get one this year. ![]() I would settle for a Storm 2 or a new Bold, but not a curve, not even the new 3g curve with its small screen, no flash, etc... |

I ironicaly went to the Blackberry with bold 3 9780 in white after owning
Blackberry 8800 T-Mobile G1 iPhone 3gs HTC Desire and now the 9780 Main reason, battery life, I get 3 days, the last 3 with my use would not make it home on one charge. |

I can't see me straying from the apple brand for phones anytime soon. I had a sanding omnia before this and that was ****. Put me off windows phones for good! You don't need choice in a mobile, the iPhone should be given out at birth! |

And by 'user friendly' do you mean 'big simple buttons'? And yes, the Omnia is a bit toss ... I'm curious, have you ever used an Android? From using an iPod Touch on daily basis prior to getting mine, I've never once thought 'well, I wish I had an iPhone...' |

also the fact as i have mentioned before that you may have had problems with Windows Mobile, that is nothing to hold against Windows PHONE 7, as you REALLY cant compare the 2 systems AT ALL.
